Tinctures are liquid extracts made from cannabis that are typically taken sublingually, under the tongue. They are absorbed into the bloodstream through the mucous membranes, resulting in a faster onset of effects compared to edibles.

Topicals are cannabis-infused creams, lotions, and balms that are applied directly to the skin. They are primarily used for localized pain relief and do not produce the psychoactive effects associated with other methods of consumption.

Concentrates are highly potent cannabis extracts made using solvents or mechanical methods. They can be used in various ways, such as dabbing, adding to joints or blunts, or vaporizing.

For medical purposes, cannabis suppositories are an alternative method of consumption. This method involves inserting a capsule containing cannabis oil into the rectum, providing fast and long-lasting effects.

It is important to note that each method of cannabis consumption has its own unique effects and risks. It is advisable to educate oneself about the different methods and choose the one that best suits individual needs and preferences. Starting with a low dose and waiting for the effects to onset is crucial, especially with edibles and concentrates, as their effects can be significantly stronger and longer-lasting than other methods.
